What can we do? – Energy
Did you know that…
The current primary sources of energy in the world are oil, coal and natural gas?

These fossil fuels are not renewable because they take millions of years to form. The energy of the sun, wind and waves is constantly renewing and does not pollute! It is continuously generated through solar panels, mills, dams, etc.

Scientists predict that over the next 100 years, the Earth could heat up to 1.4 to 5.8 °C. We are currently at the +2 °C barrier… A rise of 6 °C in temperature would be comparable to the shift that made dinosaurs disappear from Earth 65 million years ago.
Fossil fuel reserves are running out. Consumption is higher than production.
GOOD PRACTICE
1. Avoid using the car for short distances. Less 10 km of driving per week eliminates about 500 kg of CO2 emissions per year.

2. Turn off air conditioners, monitors, and others when not in use. Do not leave the devices in standby mode.

3. Turn off the lights whenever a room is empty.

4. Whenever possible, dress according to the temperature and avoid using air conditioning.

5. Replace incandescent light bulbs with energy-saving light bulbs: fluorescent / led.

6. Prefer extensions with power cut button to connect devices.

7. Buy national, regional or local products ensuring a lower carbon footprint in shipping.
