Elephant, chimpanzee and the Iberian lynx are some of the animals you will find engraved in the Lisbon Zoo’s “Souvenir note”. This original souvenir can be purchased through a vending machine installed at the Zoo shop for a symbolic amount of 2 € (two euros).

Unlike other souvenirs, each “souvenir note” is unique since there were only produced 5000 “notes” with this image and to which a serial number has been applied. In addition to its uniqueness and quality of production, the amount earned from the sale of the "banknotes" reverts to the Lisbon Zoo’s Conservation Fund, which finances conservation programs in the natural habitat.
 
From Lisbon to Asia, the Zoo's mission extends beyond borders, actively contributing to the conservation of species and their habitats.
