Lisbon Zoo presents a photography exhibition in Cascais
Reflecting environmental concerns and the impact of human action on animal species, Lisbon Zoo and Cascais developed a photography exhibition entitled “Ameaçadas pela Ação do Homem” (Threatened by the Action of Man). The exhibition is made up of several giant panels that seek to draw attention to the urgent need to act for wildlife conservation.
The exhibition can be seen until 30th june in Praia da Conceição, near the entrance of the lower passage that connects to Palmela’s Park.
The photographs were selected and provided by Lisbon Zoo. Grevy’s zebra, Iberian lynx and Japanese crane are some of the species presented in the photographs, to allert for the destruction of their habitats by the action of man, climate change, pollution, among other reasons that will not leave anyone indifferent.
